It seems to have much more taste that way. BTW I am loving your blog!Trailbosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10560979016510119034noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2577954446038205157.post-35450015528473622682009-06-21T14:45:16.532-05:002009-06-21T14:45:16.532-05:00What fabulous color. My bell peppers are just not cooperating this year at all - I don't know what it is! And course I ended up restarting all of the beans, so it'll be awhile before I see any. I've never ventured into anything like broccoli or bok choy! If I only got to grow one thing it'd be tomatoes! Looks like you'll be canning or freezing a few of those!

Karen, you are so right!

Michelle, your veggies will be in before you know it! Can't wait to see them.

Thanks Heather!Mary | Deep South Dishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06030573009618096220noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2577954446038205157.post-7236950777312856402009-06-21T11:30:16.098-05:002009-06-21T11:30:16.098-05:00Oh, you're so lucky!!! We have had lots of cucumbers, sugar snap peas and broccoli so far--I think we got about 5 heads of broccoli. My bok choy is looking really good too. We have about 40 tomato plants--long story!!--any way--a couple of them have tons of tomatoes on them--can't wait until they get ripe. I just love having a garden. We are already planning for next years garden. I have lots of other things I want to try then. Oh yeah, I usually pick my tomatoes when they start to get ripe--I don't like to wait--seems the critters like them the longer I leave them on the vine.
