Jimmy Buffet - When the Coast is Clear



Most of you probably know this by now, but this past weekend, Jimmy Buffet and the Coral Reef Band, hosted a free concert down here in Orange Beach, Alabama.  Okay, so his sister has a restaurant there in Gulf Shores (LuLu's), but the truth is, we could sure use a few more celebrities to jump on the band-wagon and do this to bring some business down here. This song was not originally written for this event, but he took a bit of liberty with the lyrics to update it a bit. I hope the video still works by the time you get a chance to listen to it.

    Love Jimmy Buffet! I'm a long time fan and I've been to quite a few concerts. I saw this on the news the other day. Good for him for taking up the cause. My heart still goes out to the Gulf Coast.

    I've always loved Jimmy's music, I'd forgotten about this song. Glad to see him pitching in, hope others follow in his footsteps.
