HAPPY MARDI GRAS!!!


It's Shrove Tuesday, Fat Tuesday! Or around these parts, just simply Mardi Gras Day, the day that all of the Carnival season that began back on Twelfth Night has led up to.

It is the last day of "feasting" before Lent, the season of preparation for the resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday that begins on Ash Wednesday, tomorrow.

Parades on tap today for Biloxi are the Gulf Coast Carnival Association at 1:00 p.m., followed directly after by the Krewe of Neptune. Maybe we'll see ya there!
