Product Review and Giveaway - Yoplait YoPlus+ Digestive Light Yogurt.

Update: This giveaway is closed. Congrats to Ann!! I need to follow Ann's advice about exercise.
Ann said... I love this yogurt...I exercise everyday during my lunch hour so when I come back to my office I enjoy eating my yogurt. I also found out that if you are working to lose weight that having a yogurt in the morning and another one in the afternoon you will start to see reslts in about two weeks..I have lost 25 pounds by exercising for an hour a day five days a week and having a yogurt in the morning and then in the afternoon. I have a nice meal for dinner..I really do recommend Yoplait as a very good product...
Thanks to MyBlogSpark and Yoplait, I had the chance recently to try Yoplait YoPlus+ Digestive Light Yogurt.

Now, I've always been a fan of yogurt because it is such a great portable and nutritious snack for those times when you need something quick. I can't tell you how many times yogurt carried me through a long workday, until I could sit down and have a nutritious balanced meal. And even now that I am home, yogurt is a great fill in between meals to keep me out of the chips and cookies.

The Yoplait YoPlus+ Digestive Light Yogurt comes with a bonus above and beyond being simply a quick, tasty, nutritious snack though. While it contains S. thermophilus and L. bulgaricus cultures - big names for what is basically the same types of bacteria you usually find in other yogurts - YoPlus+ also provides the added benefit of the probiotic culture Bifidobacterium lactis Bb-12TM. Together, these three strains provide billions of live cultures throughout the shelf life of YoPlus+; that's live, good for you bacteria, which help to balance and regulate your digestive health.

I wanted to wait a little before posting about this giveaway so that I would have time to try this product enough to know whether it would indeed have a noticeable and positive effect on my own digestion. I mean, let's face it.  Most of us probably do not eat a perfect, balanced diet of protein, vegetables, grains and fruit every day. Sometimes, fast food is just so easy - and well, I haven't seen broccoli or asparagus on any fast food menu around here.  And yeah... we do love our sugar ladened sweets down south, that's for sure, and many of us probably also allow far too many processed foods off the grocery store shelf into our diet because, well, they are flat-out convenient in this busy world.

All of this, and our digestive systems suffer for it with gas, bloating, and constipation. Being a food blogger who blogs often about Southern Favorites, does not do any favors to my system since I'm eating a bit more heavy on the fats than I normally would so that I can blog about it!  Well, I am happy to report that YoPlus+ really does work! After less than a week I noticed a significant difference in the way that I felt and it really got a handle on bloating - something we women suffer with more than you guys.

At only 70 calories, each serving of YoPlus+ also provides a full 3 grams of natural dietary fiber and that goes well toward the recommended 25 grams of fiber each day. Gluten free and safe for young children and even infants, and it tastes great. I tried the Honey Vanilla flavor which was just delicious, but YoPlus+ Digestive Light is also available in Key Lime Pie and Strawberry Banana. And you can get YoPlus+ regular too in a wider variety of flavors.

To help you maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle, MyBlogSpark and YoPlait YoPlus+ are giving one of my readers the opportunity to try Yoplait YoPlus+ Digestive Light Yogurt with two coupons* to try two four packs of any flavor of the new YoPlus Light yogurt - totally FREE!

  1. The way I stay healthy is to exercise every day as soon as I get home from work. Since I do it everyday, I only do about a 30 minute workout, which is doable. Then I have plain yogurt that I flavor with a spoon of jelly.

  2. I use another brand of protibiotic-enhanced yogurt. I wouldn't leave home without it! So I am happily going to try the Yoplait product. It makes life much more worry-free!

  6. I found the best way to maintain healthy digestion (and weight) is to keep a varied and well-balanced diet - lots of vegetables and fruits, and buying in-season. Products like this definitely help!
