Have you had the chance to try the new High Fiber Soups from Progresso yet? Available in Chicken Tuscany, Creamy Tomato Basil, Hearty Vegetable and Noodles and Homestyle Minestrone, each provides 28% of the Recommended Daily Value of fiber per serving (7 grams) and contain no artificial flavors or added MSG.

Thanks to Progresso and MyBlogSpark I had the chance to try the Chicken Tuscany variety of Progresso's High Fiber Soup and as a bonus, I received a pretty cool set of branded soup mugs and two very nice, high quality soup spoons to use to enjoy my soup! Already a big fan of Progresso soups to begin with, I had high expectations for the quality of this soup.

We all know the importance of adding fiber to our diets these days because of the many health benefits fiber has been shown to provide, including controlling blood sugar levels, lowering blood cholesterol, aiding in weight loss, helping to prevent constipation and lowering the risk of negative digestive conditions.
We all also know that few of us manage to get in enough, and making minor changes to our diets can help.
High fiber soup is one tasty way to help increase those numbers. The Progresso High Fiber Chicken Tuscany Soup that I tried contained loads of white great northern beans, chunks of white meat chicken, plus a mixture of onion, tomato, celery, carrots, zucchini and spinach. I found for my taste, I needed to bump up the salt just a bit and also added some fresh cracked black pepper, but the flavor overall was excellent and exactly what I would expect from a Progresso soup product. 130 calories per 1 cup serving, only 3 grams of fat, and 2 points per serving for WW.
