hello! I am honored to be on your followers list...but mostly to have you on mine! I do hope to return to my blog soon....life is dealing my some not so pretty hands to play lately and I need some time to sort this out. I will be online again once I get this done and will be commenting and playing with my blog friends again soon....until then....love the blog you have here!
Love the meatloaf galaze, especially the horseradish, must really have a great flavor. I have to go through your archives, Mary, love your blog, realtively new to it, you have some terrific stuff!!
'K...so now I'm wondering about how to "amend" your soil...I just dumped some garden soil over all and mixed it in. The soil in the plot "looked" rich and good to me....so much to learn....
We are having "lots" of rain...I'll wish some your way ;D
I see you are a Heinz gal...a woman after my own heart...I've never tried glazing my meatloaf except for ketchup...I may have to try this!
Mary, I just threw together a meatloaf for tonights supper--I'm that kind of cook--don't really measure things--any way--I made the glaze by your recipe. OH MY--I think that is the best tasting meatloaf I have ever made in the almost 26 years I have been married. Everyone in the family loved it--I just wanted to eat the glaze by itself. I think I'll try it on broiled chicken next. Thanks for the recipe. Sheila in NC
Hi Sarah, thanks for stopping by! I popped over for a sec to your blog but will definitely be back to check it out further. Love the boys in front of Cinderella's castle. I love Disney World - it's my most favorite vacation. I last went in Oct. 2007 and I'm so itching to go again that it's not funny. Need to start using my Disney Visa again to start building up points.
Thanks again for leaving a note - look forward to chatting again!
I just wanted you to know I am going to feature you today on my blog. I love your recipes as they remind me of home and one of my favorite places on earth the Gulf Coast. How could I not love somewhere I spent 42 years of my life.
Oh Yolanda, thank you! I'm so glad that you get to have a little taste of 'home' when you come here - please do come back and visit often! I'll be sure to check out your post for sure. So sweet - thanks so much!

ReplyDeleteOh, so happy to find yer bloggie! What interesting recipes, and it's like a visit home, I am from New Orleans many a long year ago!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great looking glaze! Do you think this would be mild enough for my kiddies?
ReplyDeleteHey y'all - you're so welcome! Thanks for the sweet comments.
ReplyDeleteTammy, you soil may be fantastic and not even need any amending - mine is NOT!
Penniwig, didn't realize that!
Heidi, leave out the horseradish or spicy mustard and just use regular yellow for the kiddos.

ReplyDeleteHi, Mary.
ReplyDeleteSo I just spent the last 15 minutes or so browsing your site, and I'm so glad stopped by!
I think our cooking styles are very similar - easy, Southern, full of flavor. SO glad I found you.
BTW, this meatloaf glaze looks delicious. Gonna try this one!
