FOR TODAY ... from Mary's Daybook
Outside my window... the sun is shining
I am thinking... that I need to get busy cleaning up the yard from the last freeze
I am thankful for... my grandchildren
From the kitchen... there is clean up to do, as always
I am wearing... my usual, sweats, t-shirt, robe and slippers - and no plans to get any further "dressed"
I am creating... recipes for Deep South Dish that is what I do!
I am going... to go crazy with these animals (puppy and kitten who recently adopted me)
I am reading... the first book in the Twilight series (surely the last person on earth) that Santa brought for me at Christmas - though with blogging full time now, my reading for pleasure seems to take a backseat and is a SLOW process
I am hoping... to be better organized this week than I was last week, and that the next daybook I do, will be a lot better than the first!
I am hearing... noise from county trucks doing something on the street
Around the house... there are many postponed and ignored chores to do
One of my favorite things... since my "forced" retirement, is learning to ditch the old stress response and to relax and just be in the moment
A few plans for the rest of the week: Less time on the computer and more time on chores ... maybe? But then there are Super Bowl and Mardi Gras recipes to blog...
Here is picture for thought I am sharing...
Can you tell I am thinking of spring?
